Second Trump Term Will be America's Heart of Darkness

The first 100 days of a second Trump presidency will be a descent into darkness where the rights of the majority will be subordinated by a well-funded extremist minority.[1]

Under other circumstances this might sound hyperbolic, but Trump and his allies at the Heritage Foundation have told us what they will do.[2],[3],[4]

Here’s what the first 100 days of a second Trump administration might look like.[5]

Day 1 – Trump is sworn into office and becomes a dictator on “day one” [6],[7] ending birthright citizenship[8] and invoking the Insurrection Act to put down civil protests.[9]

Day 2 – Trump pardons and releases the January 6 insurrectionists including Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes.[10]

Day 5 – Trump fires 50,000 career civil servants and replaces them with MAGA loyalists trained by the Heritage Foundation. [11],[12]

Day 7 – Trump names conspiracy theorist Mike Flynn as Secretary of Defense.[13]

Day 10 – Trump withdraws support from Ukraine and accepts Putin’s peace plan.[14] Kyiv falls six months later.[15]

Day 15 – Trump’s attorney general Mike Davis launches criminal investigations of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and General Mark Milley.[16],[17] General Milley will face the death penalty.[18]

Day 29 – Trump’s CIA Director Kash Patel publishes a list of disloyal journalists to be prosecuted for “conspiring” against the U.S.[19]

Day 39 – Trump brings back the Muslim ban including Palestinian refugees.[20] Deportations of student protesters, including American citizens, begin.[21]

Day 45 – Trump begins mass deportation operations with construction of massive internment centers and nation-wide raids.[22] Red state national guards are deputized to enter blue states as immigration officers.[23]

Day 65 – Trump invades Mexico.[24]

Day 85 – Trump’s advisor Stephen Miller rewrites the Civil Rights Act to address “anti-white racism.”[25]

Day 100 – Trump hosts state dinner with Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Viktor Orban.

Maybe this is a product of Mehdi Hassan’s overactive imagination. But maybe not.

Trump tells us what he will do. We need to listen and take him at his word.

[1] Trump falsely claims that the MAGA base is 75% of the country

[4] From the Heritage Foundation Project 2025 website: “Most recently, the Trump administration relied heavily on Heritage’s “Mandate” for policy guidance, embracing nearly two-thirds of Heritage’s proposals within just one year in office.”

[7] Trump frequently uses Hitler’s language to describe his enemies. A video referencing a “unified Reich” along with a picture of Trump was posted to Truth Social and subsequently removed.
