Operation Epstein Fury Day 17: Healthcare, Not Bombs.

While the nation’s attention is gripped by the escalating conflict in Iran, a quieter, but no less deadly, crisis is unfolding at home. And the contrast between our foreign and domestic priorities has never been more jarring.

In the first six days of Trump’s reckless and unfunded war with Iran, the Defense Department burned through $11.3 billion. After 17 days, that figure is now likely closer to $30 billion. That $30 billion would have paid for a year’s worth of coverage for the 22 million people who lost their extended ACA subsidies.

At the end of 2025, MAGA Republicans in the House and Senate allowed the ACA’s enhanced tax credits to lapse. The fallout is catastrophic:

·        Premiums have more than doubled.

·        1.5 million people have already dropped coverage.

·        Another 5 million will be uninsured by the end of 2026.

The math is as haunting as it is simple: 17 days of Trump’s war of choice would provide an entire year of healthcare security for 22 million people. When a $30 billion investment can save the lives of Americans at homes, we have to ask: what are we actually defending?

We must demand healthcare, not bombs. Accountability, not war.
